Invasion of the Leaves

I love our home, I really do but at this time of the year, we are invaded by…..l-e-a-v-e-s.

fall leaves #5

It’s amazing at how two people can view the same situation entirely different. Hubby sees them as annoying, I see them as fertilizer for the garden. I often purchase a product called Leafgro, but these leaves will make their way back to the garden and the new area for their wonderful natural benefits.

On a windy day, they cascade down like rain.

Even though, there are so many on the ground, there are still many in the trees.

With the rain that we have had, I am giving them another day to dry out and then I will attack the invaders with the leaf blower.

Don’t worry the attack won’t harm them as they have important business as they will add some good nutrients to our soil and compost.
