Christmas on the mind

On Saturday, I had to run some early evening errands. As a family we had went out earlier in the day but some of the items we picked up didn’t perform as we hoped so I volunteered to take them back to the store so hubby could finish up work on his sermon. When hubby is in sermon prep mode he is known to have the kids doing something like reading quietly as he doesn’t do well with too much noise. I often tease him that it is a result of our age difference (he’s 9 years older).

Imagine my surprise when I came home and found that the kids had begun what they were calling *Christmas decorating* and trust me these photos don’t do enough justice as there are little foam reindeer, candy canes, trees, holly leaves and Santa’s all over our house. My hubby was smiling and saying “look at what your kids did while you were gone”….
