What I Am Enjoying…

No Gravatar

Oftentimes, I feel as though I have too many irons in the fire. My interests can be quite varied and that often leads to my dibbling and dabbling in a bit of this and a bit of that. While this doesn’t work for everyone, it works wonders for me because I am able to shift my energies and creative passions.

Here are some of the items that I am currently enjoying….

    Martha Stewart’s Cupcakes

I think everyone knows, I love sweets. The vast amount of recipes that are available via the internet has dramatically decreased my cookbook purchases. However, when I saw this, I had to purchase it. There are cupcakes for days and the pics are great, not that we would expect anything less from Martha. Of course, the kids love it as well because who doesn’t love a cupcake?

    Sew & Stow

While not always capable of following patterns (I often make my own changes), this book has some cute and fun quick projects. The Princess has taken an interest in sewing and I am using this for a few of her projects. It has clear instructions and a variety of projects, including a jelly bag for you canning enthusiasts. :)

    Writing Fiction

I have shared recently about my love of writing. Usually, I just write but after tweeting with PJ, I decided I should do a bit more reading about the how-to’s of writing. As I prepare for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this has been a helpful resource indeed.

What are you enjoying at this time? Are you setting some personal goals for yourself? If you are, please share and maybe we could encourage each other.

**Disclaimer – any clicks that lead to purchases do help support our homeschool and craft budgets in our home.**
